'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

@Niebuhr247: Brice Ramsey to Alvin Kamara for a TD strike ... Might they be playing together at #UGA in 2013??? SE up by 2 scores now in 1 semifinal

Kid is dangerous out of the backfield as well

When a kid makes an official publicized announcement, which Kamara will I'm sure, how many of those have we actually gotten when we were listed as medium interest?

several...but usually no one was listed as high above us. in all honesty, we probably do sit behind those two schools.

Not really seeing Alabama as an option for AK. Dude is too skilled a RB to be moved to the slot.. although I think he could be a good slot man.

No, we are #2 behind Bama...said it 2 wks ago after he camped in Knoxville for 4 days.

Edit: sorry, thought I was in Henry's thread. Back to Kamara...he hasn't listed a leader. I think its a 2 horse race IMO...UT and UGA.

i thought that was Henry who had us at #2 behind bama and always thought UGA was considered on top for Kamara??

...confirm please. grazie :hi:

Hope everyone saw my edit...don't think Bama is a factor anymore for AK's services. Like Flat Top said, they want him at slot...don't think AK was buying that garbage. He knows he's a force at RB. UT vs UGA battle would be my guess with the VOLS coming out on top...my orange-tinted shades are on, but hopeful. :)

10. APB Alvin Kamara, 5-10/192, Norcross (Ga.)
Kamara was a regular underneath option for the Southeast squad and helped loosen up defenses by forcing defenders to stay near the line of scrimmage on plays. He shows soft hands when the ball comes his way and runs with great lean that allows him to make a smooth transition when he goes from working laterally to vertically. He also accelerates very quickly when he turns.

Bama likes Kamara alot but they like the guys committed as better RB options and with Henry possibly signing they can risk losing kamara by telling him he will be a slot WR eventhough he prefers RB. Tyren Jones is a beast, he dominates in one the best classifications in the country. Tenpenny is a prototype of course, so i understand why they feel that way about both

In other news, how are Jones and Tenpenny liking their new suits? When do they get the SUV's again? Now one thing I don't understand is do they get the $10,000 aftermarket rims after their first 1,000 yard season?

Nope, they just get put on straight salary from the time they enroll until the day they leave. :)
