'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

I wasn't even going to respond, but I have to since you're playing in my house. I am AK 2nd momma... you don't have a f'kn clue what you're talking about. FRIDAY NIGHT when he left there, he was DONE with Clemson. DOn't be a sore loser.. lose gracefully. This boy has 40+ offers to choose from. AK is a top of line player... ACC is boo boo... now take your barney and go away.

I'm curious is Clemson told him he was their #1 and they'd wait on him or something like that, then they took Dye. I know AK isn't worried about competing with Dye (they're 2 different RBs anyway), but you hear about schools telling kids "you're the #1 on our board, you're the only one we want to take" then taking someone else. It was coincidental though that he eliminated Clemson right after they took Dye.

the first thing I taught AK is to know how to read that board!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD! f'k what's coming out of their mouths look at the board, who's graduating? redshirts? non-scholarship - current offers in ur class - who's going to the league

"Clemson is out for me," Alvin Kamara told Chad Simmons of Scout.com. "I just did not get a good vibe there and it is not for me. It is a nice school, but they are out of it for me now."

I love statements like this. Helps me realize at the end of the day, we're still just dealing with high school kids.

"No, I broke up with her.....she didn't break up with me." Lol.

As I have stated in this thread, he's been a dawg for a while now. Not sure what's holding him back from commiting. Probably just enjoying the recruiting process a little bit.....

would love to believe that, but until alvin kamara commits i won't believe any rumor on him.

I still think UGA but UT apparantly has made a huge impression from what I see. Like I said before the visit if they can get him to hold deciding UT has a great chance.

Before Dawgnight and it was also being reported at Dawgnight he may not take another visit, including UA and CU.

@A_kamara6 I'm getting close to a decision.

Scout100 RB Alvin Kamara @A_kamara6 has narrowed his list to 5: #Alabama #FSU #Georgia #OklahomaState #Tennessee

Does not sound like a decision is coming anytime soon. So UT staff did some work.

We most certainly didn't pass on AK. We were recruiting him up very hard up until Friday night, when Dye commited. If AK would have commited Thursday night, he would have been fully accepted and we would be estatic to get him.

The point of my post is that everyone we recruited was well aware of our intentions at RB. We were taking one more, and had commitable offers outstanding to AK, Dye, and Green. Once one of them commited, we were (and are) done at RB.

This is where my post was directed. It's just funny how AK came out with those comments this week, when he knew as of Saturday morning, he no longer had a commitable offer.

Bless his heart.

Go through there holding your nose because is stink so bad! Just gross.

Get off this thread.. Y'all two can email me so we can finish the family reunion. lol :p

what are you talking about? They have a walmart, lowes, m&M, duracell, and maytag, OOOOhhh and a Target and ROss now. Cleveland moving on up.

We now also have the Amazon warehouse and Wacker (pronounced 'vocker') is being built as we speak. Both of those are 5 minutes away from my house in Charleston. Cleveland population is probably going to double in the next 10 or so years.

As for Bowater, meh. Usually doesn't stink except for a few bad days when the wind is right. Around here it's just the smell of money. All in all, this area is a great place to raise a family.

Seriously?? My wife and I live about 10 minutes away from there. Lots of farm land.

It's a great to place retire; in the middle of all that farm land. :)

Nobody will ever visit until they call because I'll be in the middle of nowhere. I don't want everybody to know where I live and your neighbor is 15minute walk on the back your property. Only thing visiting around there are skunks and dear.

I love what they've done on the other side of the tracks though!! OMG I was shocked to see such extravagant homes, but like I said...... excellent place to retire

From the Georgia website:

Recruitment: The battle for Kamara's signature has long been thought to be a two-team race between Georgia and Alabama. Clemson made an appearance for the four star running back, but he has since cooled on the Tigers.

He has yet to release a top group or a leader, but we believe that Georgia is clearly the team to beat and that Kamara will commit to the Bulldogs in the coming months.
