'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

I went to Lee University for 2 years before transferring to UT. (actually Lee College my first year, then it changed to a university my 2nd year)

I have lived in Cleveland my whole life except the years I went to UT and lived in Knoxville. Sounds like we are about the same age b/c I think I was at UT when Lee switched from College to University. It's definitly a beautiful campus now. I enjoy a lot of evening runs over there. I love Cleveland but I am very glad my degree says the University of Tennessee.

The reason I know this is because my vertical leap is high enough that someone might be able to slide a phonebook underneath my feet! I think Jason's vertical and genetics might be different!

I'm right there with ya. I loved Cleveland (and surrounding area) but Lee is certainly no University of Tennessee. Great little private school, but nothing to do though. Some of my fondest memories of my time there were driving out to the "cliffs" past the Bowater plant haha.

Haha, I have spent some time there! I prefer going up to the blue hole over the cliffs but both are fun. I like Cleveland's location to a few big cities, but also lots of lakes, rivers, Mnt bike trails, etc. Seems like u can drive two hours and see a lot of different things.

Aint that the truth. Im not from Cleveland but ive worked there for 4 yrs and thats how they all are. Everyone knows everybodys business, everyone seems to be related somehow, and everybody is ready to start beef at a moments notice. "I dont care if jimmy is my third cousins next door neighbors sons ex girlfriends brother, he shouldntve wrecked jed at the dirt track. Better watch his back or we gone mix it up in the checkers parking lot friday."

Lol im sure thats true. Mix in a few from polk, meigs, and hamilton county and it makes for an interesting area.

The glass shop i work at is about 2 seconds away from lee university and i agree with others that its a beautiful campus for a small university. Ive had the pleasure of working on some of the new buildings theyve built and they all turn out gorgeous.

Ha this is so true. I have family in all of Chattanooga and north Georgia. We're all short lol. But we love our vols and very proud your colossal son is on our team!! I know you get this alot but tell jcroom thank you for being a great recruit to read about. Now I'm just ready for some practice updates.

I love statements like this. Helps me realize at the end of the day, we're still just dealing with high school kids.

As I have stated in this thread, he's been a dawg for a while now. Not sure what's holding him back from commiting. Probably just enjoying the recruiting process a little bit.....
