Honestly these kids are idiots if they believe this crap about not "It not being a factor" when a team has already signed 2 other backs in the class who are of the same skill level as you. Not to mention the kids in the class or classes above. Wanting to come in and compete is one thing. But the opportunity at UT of getting early time and therefore giving you enough SEC experience early, so they can be game changers as upperclassman is crazy. Some of these kids can come in here to a school with a ton of tradition and make and impact as a freshman, or they can get lost on the depth chart with the other Rivals top 100 players they're competing against... But then again... "That's not much of a factor"... Totally stupid

While I agree with you, on the other hand, some kids like to avoid the wear and tear of being "the guy" against an SEC schedule when they can share the rock at a bama or lsu and still get to the league.

That said, I hope he wears orange and realizes early playing time is available.

I want kids that want to be at UT, but everyone wants to be on a competitive team. We are gonna have to show them what we are about this season or I'm afraid we will miss on the elite backs again.. I'm trying not to get too caught up in recruiting til the middle of the season or so... I think we have the recruiters in place, we just need to win... And we will.. And we will win often.. THIS season.

Kamara would fit in well in our backfield here. We'll have a backfield that consists of these guys if he comes:

Sr. Rajon Neal
Jr. Marlin Lane
So. Davante Bourque

Scat Backs
Jr. Devrin Young
So. Que Watson

That's enough legs to keep the load off of him but enough wiggle room to snatch some PT when he comes in.

People want to be at UT but they want to win too. This staff has got to prove it to these guys.

Don't try and interpret every little action that an 17-18 year old kid does or says.

Hell, I'm 35 and I can't interpret what my wife means half the time. Just let things play out and we can all ***** or celebrate after.

Nature of recruiting my friend.

Not only win but, for guys like this, we also need to show a team that can effectively run the ball. I'd rather be a part of a RB by committee on a team that averages 6 ypc than "the man" for a team that can't consistently gain 2 yards against Montana.
