This might be staffs way to break in. Feed them some players that they feel obligated to return favor. Plus he may want to come back East being a South Carolina. I do have your same worries though

I like the sound of that for sure, but my guess is his recruitment hasn't become corrupted just yet. And the issue isn't him IMO, it's the people in those MS JUCO's who have connections to certain schools who try to push and influence these kids to sign with a specific school.

This guy might be my #1 want in the '15 class. Been awhile since we've had a DT of this caliber.

That's true. I was looking at it more like, if it was Dooley, it was just another of a long list of boneheaded moves. If it was Butch, then he feels he has a good chance of getting him in the fold. Butch ain't skeert of no Mississippi $$$.

McKenzie and Jones as our 2015 DTs would be a wonderful class. I do have my doubts if Jones still likes UT over ole miss and or miss st 6 months from now.

I agree. It would be a great hual for DT's to get both of these guys. Anytime we go into Miss for Jucos it's a gamble, but I like the fact that Butch is attacking it head on.

He is listed at 6' and normally the height of some of these kids are little exaggerated ala Poona. I haven't watched any game vids on the young man but the height would concern me a little.
