"I've never really witnessed anything, facility-wise, like this ever. Got to see the full-length indoor practice field and the intensity was a whole other level," said Kotopka, who's drawing interest from nearly a dozen NCAA Football Bowls Subdivision Schools and also excels on the mound in baseball. "The SEC is a whole other level of football, and it was exciting to see coming down here.
"Just overall speed I want to work on and strength, just arm-strength and my visibility in the pocket, getting my eyes downfield," he said. "Just overall seeing the level of competition and seeing what you have to be to get to the next level in college football, the highest level in college football, this helps. And that's what this, the SEC is the best in college football."
"They were all just kind of taking a step back by it. Because all the other junior days that I've went to so far, this is a whole other level," Kotopka said. "It was really cool, and because this was one of the first practices of the year and we go to see that, too. So everyone was pretty excited."
"They just said they liked what they've seen of me on film and talked to me about how it was going for me down here, how school was going. Stuff like that," he said.
