I sadly forgot the name...that speedy db that got the first full court letter press...eventually committed to Auburn?...he was a 3* when we were heavy for him...did he ever get a higher rating?...Edit Stanton Truitt...he ended up with a fourth star...afterwestoppedrecruitinghim :glare:

Unless there were grade or character issues which have not been mentioned at all with this kid, I'd be shocked if he were not a Vol come NSD. Kid has taken a total of 6 trips to schools during his recruitment. ALL 6 have been to Tennessee. Kid looks like he wants to be a Vo to me. Coaches taking his commitment as early as they did makes me think they want him to be a Vol as well.

Stanton Truitt? Not sure if he got a bump, but he did sign with au.

"Seeing all the letters there just made me feel like UT really cares about me and out of the 99, 78 of them were handwritten so it goes to show me that they took the time to do it," Rahming said.

Rahming, who has been clocked numerous times with sub 4.4 40-yard dash times, first met Vols receivers coach Zach Azzanni last summer when he camped in Knoxville and that's when their relationship began. "I went to the camp let summer and I did pretty good up there and coach Azzanni just followed me from there. Then he saw my junior highlight film and really liked that," Rahming said.

"I love the campus and the stadium there and just from talking to coach Z and coach Jones they seem like really good people," Rahming said. "I'm looking forward to coming up for junior day and getting to know them more."

"I'm going to take some time over the summer and hit a few one day camps and see if I can pick up more offers and then probably commit before the end of the summer," Rahming said.

I think UT is still the only "big time" school that has offered. Maybe I'm wrong.

I know Duke, Marshall, Cinci, Wake Forest, UMASS, and I think Georgia Tech. Still early though.

With Woods already onboard and the WR board looking like it does, I would be very surprised if the staff took a commitment from this kid anytime soon. Still think his offer is tied to a couple other recruits who attend his HS. Get all 3, I think this kid could be part of the deal. Him alone, I just don't see it.

I think they would take him. Better player. Woods seems like a pig/devrin type specialist instead of a full time position
