'15 GA WR TJ Rahming

My mistake. This was from last weekend but he wasn't here. Just misinterpreted it (didn't read the "will visit soon" part :p). He was here last summer though so it won't be his first time on campus.

He's definitely interested and UT is his best offer at the moment. If he has a committable offer, I'm guessing he commits this weekend.

Blessed to have the opportunity to play in the US ARMY ALL AMERICAN GAME ! 🏈🏈🇺🇸🇺🇸

Won't be rated too low for long it seems.

I think so too. After UT offered last month (his first offer) he's received offers from Duke, Marshall, Wake Forest, UMASS, Cincy and WKU. My guess is his offer list continues to grow quite a bit and likely gets some bigger offers after he camps and these teams get to see him up close.

If things go as what seems to be usual now. Butch offered.....the rest of the SEC will be offering soon.

No wonder our staff is so busy. They are doing all the leg work for the other SEC schools.

Is an offer being committable or not a numbers issue? I would guess there may be north of a hundred offers extended by the UT coaches that are not committable right now. Would not matter if the class was 12 or 35.

As I mentioned in another thread, even if my comment is not numbers related, people will still bit*h.

Love it. :eek:lol:

I responded to this yesterday, but it apparently was purged.

Anyways, my comment was a joke based in your statement that I you said anythib people would take it as you arguing about numbers. Sorry if it did not come off that way.

No problem VolsnCards. I can appreciate a good joke. :p

Rahming, meanwhile, went into Saturday’s visit referring to UT and Duke as his early leaders, and he said the Vols now are alone at the top of his list. He had been to Tennessee before, attending one of UT’s camps last summer, but he said the Vols once again made a good impression on him Saturday. He said he enjoyed getting to know Jones, wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni and the rest of Tennessee’s staff. The 5-foot-9, 159-pound Rahming — who is believed to be one of the top slot receivers on the Vols’ board — said he doesn’t plan to make a decision any time soon, but Tennessee undoubtedly is in good shape with him at this point.

No more package deals, IMO. You're either good enough on your own to be a Vol, or not.

Edoga and Rahming have been in Griffin’s ear, he said, about going to Tennessee.
“I mean, of course they are,” Griffin said, smiling. “They want me to go there with them. But just, basically, I’m going to pick wherever’s best for me at the end of the day and just go off that.”

Bumping his thread cause of this quote. I wonder if Rahming's spot is contingent upon pulling one or both of Edoga/Griffin? Considering we already have a slot receiver committed.

T.J. Rahming, 2015 WR, Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern
Rahming looked like a blur at times on the football field. He is more quick than fast and defensive backs had a hard time keeping up with him. He is a true slot receiver and he is small, but he is explosive. He left some defensive backs in a different area code Sunday.

Take Rahming, drop Woods.

I don't. The coaches took his commitment very early which leads me to think they really like him. I think they seem to like him a lot more than some fans do.

If they can fit TJ into the class as well, great. Dropping a long time commitment is not something I hope happens unless that commit does something to cause himself to lose his spot. Everything I have read makes me think Jaylond is doing things the right way.

I agree. I would take both. I like Jaylond's game...
