'15 GA WR Preston Williams (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I mean, it shouldn't be a shock. Like I said earlier, he's not a solid commitment. I'd rather this happen now than later though. Not mad, kid is doing his thing. Just committed too early like a lot of kids do. Part of it I guess

This. Happens every year with a few guys. Just part of the process. You win some, and you lose some. It usually balances itself out. We as a fanbase love it when we flip a guy from another school, but some completely lose their minds when it happens to us. Until PW actually says he is not committed he is a Vol imo. I went through recruiting for baseball and enjoyed the process. Can't blame anyone for doing the same. It's a huge decision for these kids and they need to make the right choice for their future...

I can't help it that Mo got excited and told me that he was going to be cleared. I can only share the info I'm given, regardless if you believe it to be true or not. I'm not trying to gain "insider status" either. You can believe what you want, and I'll continue to share info that I come across. You don't like it, ignore it :clapping:.

Haters gonna hate...nothing wrong with sharing info. Sometimes things change...that's the way of the world. You have never declared to be an insider and only give info you hear. I have family in the AD and hear some of the same things you have. Keep bringing the info...it's much appreciated.

UGA already had WR commitments from Griffin High School’s Christian Owens (possession guy) and 5-star Terry Godwin of Callaway High School (speedy game-breaker). Said one recruiting analyst, “If Georgia can add Jayson Stanley, they can close the books with one of the best class of wide receivers they’ve recruited in years, and move on to focusing on the next position.”
Williams is the 4-star from Lovejoy High School who is committed to Tennessee but visiting other schools. The 6-5 Williams has freakish talent but Stanley is preferred by some scouts because he is considered a “safer bet” than the high-risk, high-reward Williams.

Not sure what the hell that means other than a disclaimer trying to justify the loss

Carvell is just trolling for internet hits. That's all he ever does

Was presumably speaking to a predominantly ga audience... Sounded like he was trying to assuage the disappointment of losing the states best wr

That stuff he said about having Godwin and Owens committed is true. I just think that the little "high-risk" comment was trying to generate more interest from UT fans.

Carvell doesn't try to assuage UGA fans. Saying negative stuff about UGA gets more clicks than anything else. He's just a troll, nothing more.

I didn't dispute most of that, just his reasons for saying such a stupid and lazy thing.

Sounds like the AJC has itself a regular John Adams.

I'm assuming this is from our staff since it's similar to the SI cover McKenzie posted. Excellent work, this kid loves this type of attention and we are selling him this vision - props to the staff.

This is brilliant! Somebody in the athletic department needs a raise for this.

We hired away Alabama's graphic design guy. He's brilliant and a perfect match for Jones' creativity. Yet another solid administrative hire by Hart, in addition to Vollmar and Scogin.

It's pretty good I guess, but it's no Joker paint job imo...

Every time I watch this kids film I get chills. Complete stud. I think he has the potential to be much better than Hunter or CP.

Yeah it seems all of the top recruits we are going after are getting personalized magazine covers like this ( McKenzie had SI, Phillips had ESPN, etc). These are all freaking awesome, but I do have one question regarding this:

Those magazines and logos are trademarked items aren't they? So are we paying royalties or should we?

Ask forgiveness.

Drew Richmond had that sick program where he was "The Face of Tennessee."
