KW is not really a good example of the point you were attempting to make, which was that some blue chip commits fail when they get on a bigger stage and don't have a good work ethic. KW may have had a huge ego, but he definitely did not get lost in the shuffle when he got to UT. HeII he was already a grown man, not some kid out of hs.

So many times they have been told they are the greatest thing since sliced bread they start to beleive it. It is another world in college and everyone they will be playing against in on scholarship.

Do you even know PW? Ever met him? Kid has been a solid VOL. Why don't you tone down your negative comments about our commits.

Most of the "hype" on here about PW is caused by posters that have no backbone and think he will flip because he is good. Grow up and realize a VFL when you see one.

Sounds to me that he thinks he won't work hard BC he likes the spotlight... which TOTALLY makes sense.

The NFL is the ultimate spotlight, and lazy and unambitious people are always getting checks from them!! Right guys...... right?

Take a second to look at yourself in the mayor. Now pick one of the top recruits and say okay they flipped to somebody else. Now, does that mean you are no longer a Tennessee fan? If the answer is no, you will continue to be a Volunteer regardless; then suddenly there is no real drama or angst with recruiting. At that point you can sit back and enjoy the recruiting process without all the worry. :salute:

Every year there are a few cases of late drama in the end. There could always be a case where someone flips on us in the end, but I like Butch's chances of flipping another team's recruits more.

KW was also already a grown man by the time he got here. He was in his 20s and had spent a few years shuffling around the minor leagues. He also wasn't a blue chip prospect. He landed in our laps.

Yeah...physicians are functionally illiterate. :glare: How come posters spellcheck changes a word into something irrelevant, and it still make more sense than any of your properly spelled garbage? :dunno:
