'15 GA WR Preston Williams (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Preston Williams is an elite WR prospect. Unbelievable all-around talent. His potential and skill-set is through the roof.

It will be HUGE if Williams does in fact become an EE at UT.

Williams would immediately become an important contributor to UT's offense for the 2015 season.

Obviously QB and OL play will have to drastically improve for the group to reach its full potential, but on paper the 2015 WR core of North, Malone, Pig, Smith, Pearson, and Croom will be very talented.

Add in Preston Williams, with a full spring semester and summer in UT's S&C program, learning the playbook, and practicing with UT's QBs, and you have a very DANGEROUS WR core.

I think Williams has the potential to be the best complete WR that UT has fielded in several years, IMO.

There weren't any rumors of her being cut, all that started on here. A few girls lost their scholarships, but she was never on one and has a spot with the team regardless. For whatever reason people on here starting including her in that bunch which made no sense. Her being on that team isn't the ENTIRE reason PW is a virtual lock to UT, but her being in his ear about getting to UT as quickly as possible really, really, really helps us -- ATM she is our best recruiter.

There were some walk-ons cut as well. What started all that was some posters asking whether she was one of the ones that were cut. That quickly, in true Volnation fashion, morphed into she could have been cut, to she was most likely cut, to she was cut.

I am pretty certain that Preston Williams will not be an early enrollee. I believe he has said this several times

Yup. Injuries have a way of changing the mindset.

Whomever takes the realms at QB should b automatically locked as a Hesiman Finalist. There's gonna be so much talent on O. North,Pig,Malone,Pearson,Williams,Croom,Wharton,Hurd,Kamara,Scott & Wolf

If he is eligible to enroll early, hopefully he will. If this injury is physically enough to keep him out of playing the whole soccer season, I could see it happening. Mentally it could change his mind even if it's just a short time to rehab and get ready. I know I wouldn't want to blow my knee out playing another sport I don't have the scholarship for. I think we would still take him no matter what, but if he enrolls early, he could get top notch medicAl and training advantages. Plus, get into our S&C program and get Buff Bagwell status.

Wait... I never recall hearing what exactly was injured with Wolf. And how could you already know the diagnosis of Williams? Easy on the predictions big guy. :hi:

Really hope he EE's. Besides the obvious benefits of learning the offense, getting to rehab with the world-class staff/facilities at UT would be a huge plus

Talked to my buddy and he informed me that Prestons GF did not get axed from the team, but did quit the program after a month or so to focus on her school work.

She is currently working with the football team, and also working OT trying to get PWill here as soon as possible as an EE.

Getting him here in January without having to sweat it out the whole month would be a huge plus, also. I have no reason to believe that he will not stick to his commitment, he seems all Vol, but I always remain edgy until the fax (or email) comes on in.
