I mean, Coach Strip (Vols defensive line coach Steve Stripling) is a good coach. Thats what I like about the school. Theyre definitely in the top five.
I mean, Ive still got two years left, so anything can happen, I feel like, he said. Im committed to them. Im just trying to have a backup, just in case that dont work out.
He said he still likes Alabama because just everything is great there.
All the coaches are good, Brown said. Coach (Nick) Saban is a great guy. Its a very family atmosphere up there. Its a very good school. It fits me.
Still, Brown said he enjoyed spending time with Tennessees coaches while he was in Knoxville last month. He said he talked with defensive graduate assistant Larry Knight, defensive coordinator John Jancek, Stripling and linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen, whos serving as Browns primary recruiter for the Vols.
Theyre just like, Make the best decision, Brown said. They love me up here all of them.
