"I got to go to the game and I really enjoyed it. I got to talk to Jalen Hurd and me and him are good friends and I really enjoyed the visit," Simmons said.
"One of the main things that stood out was the atmosphere," Simmons explained. "I've been to games at Florida and Florida State and their atmospheres are good but when I went up to Tennessee the fans and the atmosphere and the facilities really got to me and they really welcomed me up there as family. It was a great time, I had a great time up there."
On Butch:
"From what I've been hearing he's a great man and I like what he stands for and he's building a great program there at Tennessee and there's something I can see myself being a part of," Simmons offered. "They have great facilities at Tennessee and they have great players and great coaches that want to see you get somewhere in life."
