Serenadium51 You jumped the gun a little bit on that one. Though I admit your valiant attempt, twas simply a fail.

Most likely has nothing to do with college ball...

He's probably choosing Wendy's over Burger King or something lol

Okay this dude is kind of annoying. But of course if he were to choose UT that would change instantly and I'd welcome him with open arms.

If he chooses UT I'll do backflips. Just not a big fan of the "taking my talents to...", " gonna shock the world...." crap.

Ok, I give up. I was going to post a gif, but can't figure out how. Gif was Chris Farley as Matt Foley, yelling "La-Dee-Frickin-Da!" In the earhole of David Spade

It's real easy not to actually follow a 17 yr old on twitter. No audience = no show

This^^ x1000! This prima donna BS needs to stop. Don't say anything until you're ready to "man up" and make a decision. This crap is old and immature.

CFB selection should be the same as the NFL. CFB fans spend time hoping unproven talent picks our school while proven players hope an NFL team picks them. The whole system is friggin backwards!

A bunch of people are going to jump on the wagon and soon will probably start saying how great he is blah, blah blah. If he chooses UT all diva like behavior will be forgiven and he is a great kid. If he chooses elsewhere, we are fine without him and we didn't need a guy that acts like that on the team.

From the many custom UT pictures to the nickname "T-flash", we need to take some of the blame in creating the monster.

Some kids are smart enough to where they're actually making fun of peers who use 'shock the world,' all the time. Gibson seems smart enough to be one of those guys.

People need to chill rather than jumping to conclusions. Besides, he responded fairly quickly that it had nothing to do with picking a school. And when you're a kid who has been given this kind of invite, your 'world' is your high school, community, family, and friends and to him it may well be shocking that he's getting so much recognition outside of his hometown. Virtually every decent high school player gets constant praise from the community/school/coaches but it's not everyday they get recognition outside of their immediate environment.

IOW, give him a break. He sounds like a good kid with a good head on his shoulders in 99 percent of what he says online. Don't assume he's messing with fans or even thinking about fans of various college fans or the future when he tweets. For most high schoolers and players, what they say online is for their friends and about immediate things.
