I don't think I would call the kid stupid. It appears he wanted to visit and made a mistake in trusting a couple guys he did not really know. I'm more shocked his folks allowed it to happen. I would bet it's a learning experience for him. Doubt he takes anymore random rides with twitter fans.

Posted some stuff on snap chat of himself and D. Snelson on the bluff having a good time. Immediately after, he post a photo of himself labled "chilling" in what looks to be a females bedroom.... Seems ol TG and Snelson met some Knoxville snow bunnies who took him to the bluff. Don't worry boys. Cats in the bag. 😄

Wow, never thought I would see you take up for TG haha. Has it been confirmed how he got here exactly? I'm curious because I thought the Chattanooga VFLs was just a joke when I saw that on twitter.

While I don't see a reason to take him at QB, it sucks that he MAY be stranded waiting for a way home.

The way he got to Knoxville may have been a joke, but with TG himself posting it, and the guys he was supposed to be riding with commenting on it along the way to get him has me thinking that's what happened.

I know some feel he is still in Knoxville and it's his choice, but I don't ever remember any recruits taking a 5 day UOV.

This is what is wrong with this day and age of social media.... People just create a rumor and everyone runs with it.... I mean seriously people he didn't hop in a car with twitter fans to get to Knoxville

He's here with Dredrick Snelson and has apparently made plenty of friends @ UT. His school is on summer break. Why is it so hard to believe that he may have decided to extend his stay to enjoy Knoxville, the UT Campus and his friends? I'm sure it's a heckuva a time, especially when you're in a town that pretty much recognizes you as a celebrity.

That's a whole lot easier for me to believe than the idea that he, nor his teammate Snelson, have no one at all - not a parent/family member, a friend, HS teacher or HS coach who would be willing to get these boys home. The assumption that these young men are literally stranded, with absolutely no way home, is ridiculous.

:hi: You may not be a fan but you've got to admit the dude had to want to visit pretty badly to come all the way up here without having a ride back already planned. We'll see what comes of it.

They do seem to be enjoying a nice vacation. Glad he was able to stay on campus for so long and enjoy the area not just sit around on campus.

If he picks us or goes elsewhere at least he gets to see why we all love UT and all it has to offer.

I think this is true. Surely the guys would scrape up Mega Bus Greyhound fare if he was truly stuck.

This any good parent would take the day off and pick their son up if he called the saying he is stuck.
