That's incorrect. Gibson is a much superior athlete but not even close as a qb. Winston at fsu is what you want a college qb to be, a elite passer and mobile enough to get by on the ground a qb who can't throw is worthless no matter how athletic or high ranked he is.

Nobody knows that honestly. Dormady is the better passer and more polished QB. There are reasons Gibson is listed as an athlete and not every schlool is recruiting him as a QB. Still see Gibson as the better fit for AU's offense. Too many people are focused on the 5* he has. If he was rated as just a pure QB then Gibson isn't a 5*. Not a knock on Gibson at all but Dormady is the better passer and natural QB Butch's offense usually has.

It's amazing how much that 4 accuracy rating Gibson has on 247 has LV up in arms, but that 2* rating that Dormady has on Rivals (the people he REALLY trusts with evaluations/rankings) is no problem at all.

He is a 2* because he hasn't been evaluated yet, that's what rivals gives guys that haven't evaluated. He is a 4* on 247 and has been by them.

Tebow was a truck who had elite athletes and a system to cover up his inability to pass. We have wr who are your prototypical nfl type wrs. They want a qb who can get them the ball down the field. Also I'd rather have a Winston than a Marshall but that's just me.

WTF? I was explaining why other UT recruits and commits are retweeting and tweeting hype. People seem to think it points to Gibson, because they have been seen talking with Gibson on twitter, but not Dormady. Cool your jets or know what you are talking about before you get all jumpy.

The experts say Tg is a 4 star as just a qb and is a good passer with a big arm and touch. His video shows it. Somehow certain fans don't believe what the experts and coaches think and have made a bs narrative that he can't pass. Dormady does not throw it any better. Look at the film. TG's hudl film shows deep, accurate throws hitting the wrs in stride. On QDs throws the wrs had to stop and adjust more even when the man is wide open. People say all he threw is screens but in the video there is only about one screen in the first ten passes. People keep saying all of these lower rated guys pass better but what backs that up? Only message board opinion.

Rated as a pure passer he is a 4 star which is still higher than QD. I have not seen one professional opinion that says QD is a better passer.
