How are they going to slow play someone who just said he's making a decision in the next week or so?
By not accepting his commitment. That's how slow play usually works...
And IMO that will not happen. They may give TG a day to decide if he want to, but I'd expect either TG or Dormady a Vol in no time. Also CBJ would be wise to toss in the disclaimer to the commitment that IF you commit, your recruitment is over.
That's just one scenario. If he thinks we are undecided and Bamer is saying" Come on, Kid,"....then we got no play at all. You can only "slow play" a kid who has no better options than waiting. Sounds like he does.Lots of kids say they are going to commit then realize the schools won't take their commitment yet... Slow play. I'd rather gamble and wait on Francois and Gibson especially with the amount of 16 qbs we are in on and the progression of Jennings. But I believe dobbs will improve a lot over the next couple of years and I know some don't.

To be honest, I personally like Jennings tape better than Dormady or TG's (with the exception of TG's ability to run). So, it wouldn't feel like a loss, to me, if we just dropped the notion of a second QB, altogether. No you can still slow play him the other schools just don't and take his commitment. You still technically slow played him tho. This is exactly what happened in the sterling johnson situation. Was still a slow play by UT.
I also agree with the others sayin we won't turn dormady away, I just think they could if they wanted to because of the development of Jennings
