LV is hardly "trashing" Gibson. He has simply said he wouldn't take two DT QB's in this class. I enjoy both "sides" input. And just because Brice or Fortenberry says it doesn't mean they don't make assumptions as well. There is a clear distinction between dissenting opinion and the codyg's on this board. You make it sound like they're one in the same

The fact that he drove 15 hours to get to Knoxville shows how serious he is about us, yet there are some that question that? How can you be so obtuse?

All school boards are pretty much the same as this one. Of course to a smaller scale as some schools boards have about 16 posts total a week. Noone will ever agree on everything, it's just the way it is. If the mods ever decide that this board as a rule will only allow sunshine and gumdrops within the discussion, then some back and forth/disagreements on some things will take place.

I do not remember mentioning anyone by name. However if one feels guilty enough that they feel the need to respond then perhaps it did pertain to you. All I was saying is that when I visit other teams boards ( which is extremely rare ) I have felt in the past that we were above them. Our board ( Freak's board ) has always seemed to have more class to me. Read what I said again and pretend it was not about you even if you think it was. I stand by what I said 100 %.

VQ is full of assumptions as well. They have to be. CBJ and the other coaches can not discuss recruits with them. It just makes sense that they have to make guesses just like everyone else. Kind of like when they post the "Top 8 LB's on UT's board". It's 100% a guess and nothing more.

Perhaps it pertained to me? Mighty big assumption, big guy. You're not allowed to do that here. I don't recall if I ever gave my opinion of TG anyway. I just stated that I enjoy both sides of the dialogue even if you feel you're above dissenting opinion.

Question for you: are people not allowed to disagree? If you believe they can, should they not be able to do so on this message board?

The kid does everything in his power to get here and make a 15 hour ride. They question if he wants to be here.

The recruiting experts say he is a four star qb even if he couldn't run and he can make all the throws with accuracy. They say he can't pass.

Makes sense.

Again, I never said it was about you. Please quit inferring something that is not in my comments. Disagreement is fine. Healthy disagreement is even great. I often do not agree and post dissenting comments. However if you go back and read my original comment on this you will clearly see what I feel is not appropriate.

Literally 20 minutes before your post LV insinuated that Gibson deliberately missed the QB camp because he was too scared to compete. But that's just a "dissenting opinion" we should encourage, right?
