Five-star rising senior athlete Torrance Gibson of American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla., told 247Sports on Saturday that he's currently traveling to Tennessee, and he expects to arrive in Knoxville early Sunday morning for his scheduled visit with the Vols.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Gibson, who's one of Tennessee's top quarterback targets in the 2015 class, will be visiting the Vols for the first time since late March. He recently has referred to Tennessee and Auburn as his co-leaders, although he admitted after his visit to Auburn last weekend that the Tigers had moved slightly ahead of the Vols.
Gibson is ranked the nation's No. 14 overall prospect and No. 1 athlete in the 247Sports Composite for the 2015 class.

But I will be happy, and that is all that matters...right? :dance2:

I'll be happy. I'm of the mindset that with the talent we are bringing in at the playmaker positions we will be able to win big with any of the qbs we are in on. The only difference will be how the product looks. With dormady I expect lots of passing and Hurd domination. With Gibson id expect lots of read options with some screen passes and the play action deep ball with again lots of hurd domination...

And before anyone attacks, yes scott, paulk, rocky and anyone else that wants to join the ground domination is welcome to join.

Even if there were a debate on whether or not you take a commitment from another QB, Gibson has made if pretty easy to go ahead and pull the trigger on another prospect.

I've been a Gibson supporter since the beginning, and I have to agree with this.

We get it. You've made your anti Gibson opinion clear the last couple of pages... Also I don't quite understand how him working quite a few different options to eventually find a ride and still come this weekend has made it easy to pass on him... But by all means do that anti-Gibson voodoo that you do..

Anti-Gibson? :eek:lol: Yeah I've been all against the kid clearly from the start if you read my posting history. I think he will be a great talent wherever he lands but it won't be here. Actions speak louder than Twitter to me and nothing in his actions have indicated he is serious about being the man at Tennessee.

What actions? Because he visited auburn twice? This will be UT's 2nd visit.

I'll be shocked if he actually makes it in.

I'll be shocked if everyone's shocked and I won't be shocked if no one's shocked. It's also my guess that when he arrives in Knoxville that he'll be here. Until TG releases a statement and tells the world that he's no longer considering the Vols then I'll believe that he is still considering them.
I'm sorry that I failed Mind-Reading 101 and I'm unable to get inside his head like many on here can.

I don't care about the Auburn visits. If you have a school as your favorite and are serious about getting better at a position, you show up at a QB camp at that school. You really believe the oops last minute "transportation" problems?:eek:lol: That said Jones is a better judge than myself as to the talent or the dedication of a recruit. If he genuinely believes Gibson and believes in Gibson then we will continue to push for him, if he doesn't we'll will do what every other major college program usually does and move on.

I don't have any reason to not believe the transportation issues.. That happens all the time in recruiting.

I agree that ideally a kid comes to camp at the schools he is interested in but that's not always the case. You're making very definitive statements with no evidence to support them.

And since you like them so much apparently:
