'15 FL QB/WR/DB (anything he wants) Torrance Gibson

Maybe. Recent events may have forced him to do that

Haven't followed this closely, but if the allegations in the last few pages are true, I don't think I want him. Even if he is an elite player, there's a good chance we will struggle to keep him out of trouble and therefore he might not help us much on the field. Could be divisive in the clubhouse too.

I'm especially sensitive to entitled high school athletes mistreating their teachers (my wife was a teacher for a number of years at Norcross and Wheeler outside of Atlanta and had to put up with this).

Was listening to an OSU football radio show this morning up here in the beautiful rust belt. The talking heads seemed to think that OSU would not want to wait for Gibson, if another QB they like commits sooner. CUM has never had five QBs on scholarship, and they doubt he would go for that now. They have three currently, and would thus be unlikely to take two QBs. TIFWIW

This kid and Jennings seem too similar to me. No way they both are recruited as QB right? That would be 5 QBs on scholarship.

Well if the rumor of him moving to receiver next season is true, he might be moving up the process before the season starts. if he wants to play quarterback in college, he will need to find a school that'll let him before he no longer plays that position in highschool

Not sure he will be a QB at OSU or any other program. Teams will probably still sell him QB play just to get him to sign.

Our offense exposes QBs to injury. It's good to carry spare QBs.

Worley's gone after this year and though I don't agree, most seem to think there's a good chance Peterman might be gone too. Add in one of Dobbs/Ferguson (less likely IMO, but still possible) transferring after the 2015 season and all of a sudden the QB depth chart is really thin. Mostly theoretical at this point, but having two untested freshmen (Jennings/Gibson) to back up only one veteran probably isn't ideal.

I'm thinking he's ours to lose. If he visits Ohio St. then he'll be Ohio State's to lose IMO.

There is a reason he is so highly coveted. Will run our system well and should have a year or two to mature before being a starter.

I think we are too used to relying on freshman to realize they should grow as a backup first.

Can't wait to have him on Campus.

ummm....

hes really bad at throwing screens. he did throw the post pretty well though.

Not a difficult fix.

The second QB we bring in this class will probably RS too, so I wouldn't worry too much about things like that.

He's got all the tools. I'd prefer other QB's, but Gibson wouldn't be a bad consollation.

This all day. People are nitpicking on the small things. The things he needs work on can be fixed easily at the collegiate level. His athleticism and talent cannot be taught. There is a reason why he is one of the most sought after QB's in the country.
