Dude... seriously. Everyone knows that great QBs don't evolve from lesser quarterbacks to survive the rigors of competition for playing time. They are created by a divine being, like David Cutcliffe.

Im listening to him on the radio right now. He said hes working on his footwork and he knows he relies on pure arm stregnth and is working on technique

With Jennings already on board and supposedly looking much improved in the passing department this spring (per volatil) I wonder if he becomes the "pocket passer" if Gibson wants to commit.

He is still raw and more of an athlete at this point. You don't just become a great passer in one offseason.

All negavol aside here I feel like this is what's gonna happen. Torrance Gibson is gonna keep us up high for quite some time. He will scare Gentry away. Gentry will think Gibson is coming here then Gibson will commit to OSU or somewhere else then will won't get either guy we want. I hope not but I just have that feeling.

I agree in not saying passing can't be taught just saying you don't go from being a very raw passer to a great one in one offseason. If you think he can become a great passer in one offseason well we will just have to agree to disagree, I think that's something that comes with more time and experience (both in practice and in games)...JMO. I'm very excited about this guy though. He's obviously an exceptional athlete and if he can become a good passer watch out.

I'm just relaying what's been reported from someone who watches them practice. I expect his senior QB film to be pretty good.

Never said he has become a "great" pocket passer YET. This kid has made large strides in that department. Jennings has worked on his release point. He is more over hand than side arm and his accuracy is much improved at this point. He still needs work but I'm certain he will.
