Or 2 ATH's and 1 QB, depending on who you ask. Still we're not taking Gentry/Gibson/Jennings. They are all being recruited by UT at QB.

If Gentry committed next month and then later on Gibson also wanted to commit I doubt they tell him no. They would likely slow down their recruiting of him after Gentry commits but if Gibson wanted on board, I can't see them saying no, despite the class size. JMO

It just won't happen tho.. That's like bama with running backs.. Don't think it would happen with qbs

Except we're only taking 2 QBs. :p

I haven't been following his recruitment very closely but it shows on Rivals that we haven't offered yet. Is that true or just a hiccup by Rivals?

They would let anybody decommit to get TG. He is the best player we are in it for. No other prospect has the potential and playmaking ability he has. He can pass way better than people are giving him credit for. Numbers don't lie with the level of competition faced.

Kid has people around him pointing out commits and depth charts. Rump and his camp had a plan to see how the process shakes out.

What plan is that? Let every top QB in that nation make their commitment and see what's left?

Then why do you seem panicky? :w00t:...you got this

See who's blowing smoke and selling snake oil.

So if UT grabs Gentry, UF grabs Francois, and stops recruiting Gibson, does that mean their coaches were selling snake oil? To me that just says they recruited their top targets until they got one.

If we get another solid quarter back Gentry/Nunez/etc. I don't see us giving up a commit to land Gibson. Gibson is not going to commit unless he can play quarterback. The other prospects everyone says we will let go for him are not at his position. We are not cutting OL or DL numbers to sign Gibson late in the game and we are probably not taking 3 QBs. He is great player and I would love to have him but he is not a "sure thing" that we have to have.

I think we'll take whoever commits first, whether it be Gentry or Gibson and be done with QB.

Still in it for Nunez too......I think. We have Jennings in the fold. Whichever of the other three commits. Call it a day.

He is going to regret waiting to announce IMO

True dat...my opinion...which is going to cause ulcers...is that he wants that big moment...like Terrell Pryor...amazing that things have changed that drastically since for high profile QBs...you not only have to put off POST SIGNING DAYS announcements...you have to pick your preferred team early enough to guard against another prospect...great teams get openings after declarations etc...but it's too much risk

Kid is well aware of programs selling him on QB just to move him to Wr once he gets there.

He's making a trip back to UT 2 weeks later for the spring game, he's clearly very very interested. I have to imagine our staff is going to pressure him for a commitment. Maybe he shocks the world and commits before Gentry.

I'm sure he is, but my take on it is, because he is such a great all around athlete no school (with any kind of decent QB) will give him too terribly long to prove he's their next QB. JMO
