I will say, though, I think the staff cools off on Gibson if/when Jennings commits.

Two guys in the same mold. Both are projects, JMO

I can't help but wonder if they still go hard after Gentry AND Gibson after JJ commits. Where does that leave JJ? 5* safety, baby.

I wouldn't have a problem taking Gibson, Jennings, and Gentry. 1-2 would change positions/transfer but if they all came to UT, id be happy. Not saying which couldn't start at QB, but Gibson would be a North type WR and Jennings is an elite S prospect. Gentry might just transfer if he lost out

If that's the case, JJ won't end up a Vol. He's one of the QB's in this class. They'll give him a fair chance.

After that, it's one of Gibson/Gentry/Nunez.

well, was concerned the a word would get me another email from the Freak..........field of vision ........maybe you should be the QB lacked some of that the last few years

See, I just can't see it. That makes it seem like they're not willing to give JJ a chance. That's just me, though.

Yeah I see that too. I'd 100% make sure it's cool with JJ first if it was me. Gibson literally might be the most gifted athlete in this class and he just said we lead, so you can't turn that down. I think some underestimate Torrance's pure athleticism

That's my thoughts as well. I just don't see them slowing down on Gibson, though, and he will be the last of the 3 to commit to wherever.

Yeah, I'd agree with that.

Having two guys that athletic would be awesome. That's a big risk with QB recruiting, though.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Regardless, I'm confident we end up with a great QB haul.

This next season will be huge for both JJ and Gibson. I've been saying I wouldn't be surprised at all if we saw HUGE progression with Jennings. Same applies to Gibson.

Lot's of couch-coaches up in here, I'd say that you fall in line with the rest. If our coaching staff believes in this guy, why wouldn't you? Do you know something they don't know? Do you honestly believe that your evaluation of talent is better than ANY of the coaches on staff at UT?

Didn't think so, but I'll hang up and listen regardless.

And if you aren't "hip" to social media then fade away into the darkness with the rest of the dinosaurs. They aren't billion-dollar industries because they are failing at what they do :crazy:.

What has you convinced that Butch and Co are all in on this kid?...I admit that I don't know...just putting my opinion of this kid...on a message board...I have formed an opinion...from his social media foray...that he's a prima donna while not exactly excelling in camps AT THE POSITION he wants to be a diva at...I'll stem my offensive against BIG BAD FACEBOOK TWITTER AND SNAPCHAT until this free speech issue is resolved...don't want to mess up the economy :salute:

Their athleticism isn't where I see the risk. I see it that both are still trying to master the passing part of the position. If we only get those two, then we are getting two very gifted athletes with one question mark at the most critical part of their position.

This year is huge in their development as passers, no doubt.
