This is a mature decision. A QB prospect shouldn't wait until National Signing Day to commit because (1) he won't attract other recruits to play with him and (2) coaches will hedge their bets and sign other QBs. If Gibson is serious about leading a team to a national championship, he should commit somewhere relatively soon.

Let's hope he gets blown away by his visit this week and picks us!

I am thinking Auburn on this one. They are telling him he has the skill set of Marshall and fits right in with their offensive scheme.

Does anybody actually think he will come here? Butch needs to put all of his chips down on Gentry. Better overall QB than Gibson IMO.

THANK YOU!!! I think recruiting is such a sad thing when it comes to some fans. Seeing grown adults hanging on every word a 17/18 year old says or does is disturbing. I have 3 boys 16-18 and would worry if they said some grown ass stranger kept talking to them on FB or twitter. Would be tempted to contact police. BUT I do know these recruits are very into the attention but someone needs to be the adult.

My guess is that Gibson is being recruited as a QB and he will sign with the team that is recruiting him as a QB not an athlete. I also think that Gentry is the better fit for us.

Sure would of been nice of him to win a natty or a heisman at least considering they paid him 5% of what he makes now. Deer lord, Auburn bought the cheapest national title in bcs history.

Stumbled upon an article about him earning his invite to the opening, an interesting quote about Cam Newton from him.
