Why are we so up in arms about what position he plays, though? I'm more concerned with just getting him on board.

I don't see why it matters whether he plays QB or not, as long as he's a Vol.

Y'all just need more to argue about.

As stated before the issue with adding a 3rd QB, other than taking away a much needed spot at other positions in a small class is the effect it would likely have on recruiting/signing a 2016 QB and spacing the QBs out on the roster. Gibson at WR would make much more sense to me with where we are in recruiting in 2015 and going into the 2016 class.

If they all play QB, that's three talented QB's behind Dobbs.

In that case, what's the need for a QB in 2016?

You also make it seem like CBJ isn't convincing enough to get another QB next year, when he just proved he can take the lead for a 5 star DT QB, while having 2 QB's committed.

Boom! Butch knows what he's doing. Let's just celebrate that a 5* player just said we lead. Don't try and overthink this with numbers or position. Just relax and be happy. We will be on top again very soon. GBO

His top school changes after each visit he takes.. just sayin I would not count on Gibson, he is too wrapped up in the recruiting process and getting every ounce of fame he can out of it. You should see him play the different fan bases against each other on twitter. Its actually pretty funny.

Also, as a 5* guy, Gibson can help pull in other talented players around him. Remember the text group? He can help make our class better. Even if we don't get him, I'm sure other recruits are still taking notice of this. GBO

And doing so after striking out last year. Keep that in mind. He took 2 in 2013, and 2014 they could not get a QB to give them a sniff. Take 3 and you think they will be lining up? Really?

He stayed here for 4-5 days and spent all of his time with players and coaches. I think we may be in this far more than you do. He hasn't done anything like that at another school. His interviews from today seem much more personal than any I've read from him. JMO of course.

That a little tidbit they tend to forget. Apparently there are about 12 5*'s sitting back and waiting to follow TG wherever he goes. They won't commit till he does. Its going to look like the Macy Day parade when they all commit together.

Must be why the lead changes keep happening. Which coach is will to accept the commitment from all of his buddies as well. Will probably take close to NSD to work out the logistics. Now the time line is starting to add up.
