Apparently there was going to be an ad shown during tonight's game having to do with forcing the Redskins to change their name. Have you seen it yet?
I find it offensive that people throw their weight around just to try and get someone to change something that no one had a problem with until now.
I find it offensive that people play the race card every chance they get for nothing more than sympathy.
I find it offensive that there are people who do nothing but bleed this country dry and have the nerve to say they need more funding.
Your dealing in a whole lot of what if's right now. The fact is TG is not a QB committed to UT and Jennings and Dormady are. You don't like it. It's alright.

It's a much better idea to space out the QBs class wise. Less likely you lose kids to transfer in year 2-3 if they are spread out. It's just common sense recruiting 101.
I understand the "recruiting 101." I know you argued that we should only take 1 qb when we still had RF, but when he left, it was cool to get 2 qbs. What if the coaches wanted 2 qbs before RF left town? Why wouldn't they still recruit TG then? Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you are right.
Personally, I couldn't care less; I think we got a good passing qb and a good athletic qb. But if Butch wants TG, and Butch preaches competition, then the more the merrier, all the better for the Tennessee football program. If they can't win out, who cares if they transfer? It's not ideal, but ask the guys who recently left the program if Butch values the players that produce more than the ones who don't measure up.
If TG wants to be a Vol, bring it. Win the QB job and lead us to victory. If you can't win the job, find a different seat on the bus or get off the bus.
Of course CBJ can do whatever he thinks is right. As I said before, how often do you see schools take 3 QBs in 1 class? It's just not something that happens. I get fans looking at it and saying the more the merrier, I just don't think the recruits think that way. The fans say stack 'em up 10 high and then just boot the ones who are not All SEC. Obviously that is partly why recruits keep an eye on how many a school is bringing in at their position and don't all choose to attend the same school. A lot of the same folks on here today screaming take all the QBs you can get in the class are the same ones who will be 1st in line trying to boot them out the door in year 2 to make room for the next unproven "*". I don't see any reason to take 3 QBs, and pass on OTs, DT's, and other positions of need. CBJ can do it if he likes, he makes the calls.

As a general rule I agree. The primary time it changes IMO is when the best on the board regardless of position wants to come. You make room for that. Not saying TG is that guy unless he is willing to be a TE.![]()

Gibson is a silent commit and is hanging with a girl right now on campus. If the Dormandy commit turned him off, he would not be there right now/stayed as long as he has.
