Are you talking about me?? I mean I care if Gibson decides to become a Vol, but I care less about his recruitment than any other guy we are in on. The only times that I check this thread is when the others don't have anything going on.

If I were Butch, I would be comparing depth charts with AU and hammer that into TG's head.

Then I'd show him just how superior our WRs are compared to Auburn's.

I'm a fan of Gibson and would love to have him here but c'mon, co-leaders? That = Auburn is his favorite right now not UT.

I hope he changes his mind but make no mistake about who his leader is right now.

People who get upset over a kid making a big deal of his announcement to play in an all-star make me question if they are all there.

That's a big honor for a young man, let him enjoy it

Valid points but Gibson said tonight he'd be committed to Miami if that ran a spread, zone-read offense. That's exactly what Auburn runs and he said that's what he's best at. With that, I'd compare our Oline and running backs and hammer that into his head. I do wish you the best because the SEC is better with UT competing. We need Bama to lose to y'all some too

I've seen your posts and you're cool for a rival fan fwiw.

We run a zone-read spread also. I know AU has us beat on the OL but I'd say that UT is pretty close to y'all at RB and WR is a landslide in our favor. Look at what AU's has quarterback then look at ours. Basically, Dobbs would be TG's only competition. AU on the other hand will have Johnson and Wallace ahead of him, not to mention Queen is already committed too.

Okay let me put this in simple terms:

It is stupid to have a big announcement on twitter that is only about having another big announcement and this last one is only what all America game he is taking place in.

You can be as much of a TG fangirl as you want, but if that didn't make you facepalm then I don't know what will.

I do not dislike TG, I would probably be pretty excited if we got him, but I would be lying if I didn't say that we need our 2nd QB to be more of an athletic pure passer than a pure DT QB.

And the good thing about our O line is they do have talent. They will all be together 2 more yrs. Coleman will end up being a stud before he's done and he will be around longer. Wiesman is talented and nasty. Once the OT spot gets a little deeper the O Line will be right on par.
