Love that tweet! BLOW UP HIS TWITTER!

As ridiculous as it seems it really creates hype for a prospect to a school. Some old timers won't believe or get it but its a big way to get a prospect excited about a school before they get them on campus. Then it's all up to bUTch.
Even the old timers have come around. It's a recruiting tool and the coaches know it. Some more than others, apparently. :)

It always blows my mind when people bash others for supporting recruits on twitter. If it's not your thing, fine. I don't tweet recruits either but it's obviously something that helps.

Jayson Swain and Erik Ainge give out twitter handles on their radio shows. EA and Swain realize that kids love that attention and personally I believe that UT coaches have endorsed/encouraged this move. I can't tell you how many times I've seen recruits talk on twitter about how much love UT fans show them. It helps and our fanbase is the best in America on twitter.

“(Jones) kind of had me interested,” “He was talking about possibly being a true freshman and starting for those guys and stuff. He made a good point. A lot of colleges want me and stuff, and I probably would do good in their program. But at Tennessee, seeing that they’re rebuilding, I could maybe come in and start as a true freshman. I’m excited. We talked about trying to make the spring game. I’m going to try to go to their spring game and see the facilities and the stadium and all that stuff.”

“I’m interested in Tennessee, and I was happy that I called them and was able to talk to them,” he said. “I talked to Coach ‘G,’ and I talked to the defensive line coach for a minute. ... This was the first time I actually was able to just talk one-on-one with more than one coach. It was nice to get to talk to those guys because, obviously, they’ve been waiting to talk to me.” "I don’t have a leader right now. Florida, Auburn — really, it’s (those) two. I like Oregon a lot, but I have to really wait. Florida’s showed me a lot of love. Auburn’s showed me a lot of love,”

“I’m just waiting until then to commit,” he said. “I was thinking about maybe committing at (Nike’s) The Opening, but I’m just going to wait.”

I don't see him leaving the state unless Muschamp gets fired. He's a Gator fan, grew up a fan, his family are all fans, and he's visited like 25 times in the past 2 years.

The "experts" have been calling him a lock for the past 2 years to Florida, but a bad season can change a lot.

If they tank, and we can get him on campus, I like our chances

I think he named Auburn & UF his leaders. Prior to that it was Bama and UF. I don't necessarily think he's a UF lock, but there are a lot of things pointing to UF here.

What's your gut feeling on this one HG? With Cowart being at Armwood, I'm assuming it'll be a pretty tough pull for an out-of-state school.

The day UF doesn't get a kid from Armwood they want is the day Sean Callahan will be looking over his shoulder about a job. Music wasn't the only reason LM3 didn't end up at FSU. Too much Gator money in that school and county. I will say Cowart is intrigued by playing oos but as long as Muschamp is there it's going to be hard to see him any place other than UF. Bama is a real threat with Kiffin having Tampa connects.
