This is really getting drawn out. Soap Operas move faster. Can you image how many more stories and posts will hit the services and this board before BB and Oku sign. Charles is the key to the others. Just 15 more days. In 26 days no more Wheaton4prez and no more talk of the almighty quacks.

yeah i wish these kids would just go ahead and get it all over with. I would be happy to get any one of these guys, would be thrilled with OC but I think USC gets him. I think Oku is waiting for BRown to make his choice. But I guess we will wait and see

You guys are making it more drawn out than it really seems by always talking about it. They set a date - so just chill and wait.

I try not to spend much time in here looking at the BB/Oku/Charles threads because I'd probably start getting pretty annoyed and impatient as well.

I am really not impatient and I can honor the date. It's primarily the hoopla of those that do not know that is the killer. To be honest, I can speculate with the best of them and say we have Charles and Brown headed our way.

Face it the chase is more fun than the actual marriage. So we are feeding this chase daily or hourly. Opinions are great and everybody has one but face it there are some people here that will croak if we don't sign one of these 4 players.

Also, the Butler thing has been another part of the saga that has added to the tension. Although he has good intent is he the fuel in the fire.

When I listen to Brown, I have more confidence in his ability to make this decision on his own and what he feels is the right one for him. Oku is like a hurt puppy in the store window. Charles is very low key and direct about his approach. Geathers is a wanna to be that has family and father pulling at him.

Bulter has been and will always be my problem with the recruiting of Brown and Oku. He is a wild card and without knowing his influence or side deals it makes me feel uneasy about this talented player. If he were the father or legal guardian of Brown I would have no problem but he is not and how much influence he has with Brown is what it is all about with him.

Charles has been calling the UT coaches; that's a good sign. We may have a chance with him. If Brown doesn't come I say we get Oku. I mean why would he wait so long if he's not waiting to see whaat Brown does. But I say due to our lack of star players on the OL and QB that we do not have much of a chance with Brown. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we do land Geathers. He has not jumped at UGA's offer yet. I say after thinking it over for a few days he will see how sh!%%y it was for UGA to wait til after NSD to offer him, not to mention after next yr. he would have a great opportunity to start in our OL or DL.

I have always thought it was Syracuse with Drayton being there. But who knows with this kid. I bet he doesn't even know who his leader is.

Hubbs seems to think probably Nebraska. He said Oku didn't really want to talk to him anymore. He said he thought Syracuse was probably too cold and that he thought Auburn signed too many backs already.

But....he also said he didn't really have a good feel of where he would go.

I bet Charles lands wherever Brown does. They would complement each other. Oku definitely goes where Brown doesn't. Geathers is his own man. It would be one helluva haul to get that trifecta!

Geathers already announced he is making it official tomorrow between 1 and 2 pm, so he had already planned to wait on his announcement anyway. Having said that, I think it's 50/50 TN/GA.

Nebraska in the winter time ain't exactly Daytona Beach.

I think it is stupid for a recruit to base their decision on the weather. If they do happen to be good enough to get drafted in the future, what are they going to do if someone like Green Bay or Chicago drafts them?
