Town is a 5* 98 on 247. He camped at Bama this past weekend, and he earned himself an offer from Bama.

Alabama becomes the fourth program and first from the SEC to offer Town, joining UCLA, Miami, Florida State, and Arizona State.

There will be alot of 2014 bama slumber draft camp sleepover recruits upset they did not get the chance for cuddle time.

gotta say I feel bad for Cornwell now. Town outplayed him at Bama's QB camp. DC has all the tools to be elite if he develops and continues to improve but this puts the pressure on him now for sure.

Very happy to have Town though of course. He seems to be even better.

Cornwell is going to be Jesse Scroggins JR if he stays at Alabama.

He needs to flip to the Vols.

I would not be surprised if the staff has already called him to gauge his feelings on todays news. I doubt he was able to take the call though as he was putting a fresh coat of polish on sabans toes. TIFWIW

Lol. Cornwall isn't decommitting. Y'all really think he thought Saban isn't going to load up on a new 5 star QB basically every cycle? Plus, it is not like this kid is in the same recruiting class. Last time I checked Town will have to beat out Cornwall on the football field anyhow. Y'all are nuts.

Cornwell will transfer within a couple years IMO. He has an elite QB in the class ahead of him and now the one behind him. It's obvious from the get-go Bama was far more sold on Town than they ever were with Cornwell, just look how early they offered a junior-to-be compared to a senior-to-be. He's either a career backup at Bama or he ends up at a small school in a few years.

While I agree anything can happen between now and when Cornholio has a chance to start in 2016, as another poster mentioned Town already beat him out on the field at their camp. They were ready to take Town(his offer was committable) before Cornholio even won the spot for 2014.

I am not saying that Town isn't better, just saying Town committing is not going to make Cornwell decommit. He knows Saban is going to bring in studs at his position every year. Obviously the kid doesn't fear competition otherwise he would've he would've went elsewhere.

Yeah I dont see him decommitting either. He had to have known the fact that they liked Town better than him and there was a good chance they were going to land him and yet Cornwell still picked them. I just fully expect him to play second fiddle during his career at Bama.
