"Outside influences" I remember the same thing being said several times on VolNation about recruits right before we lost them! We got him!

Ah.....yes the old "Our school is the obvious choice if it were just up to him ploy". I know it well.

If so, how would we tell him these "lies"... and even if we did talk to him after the Clemson visit, did he instantly call Clemson like, "Hey, CBJ said yall are full of chit". I dont see how Clemson would know what was said to him after they left his home.

This staff told Davin Bellamy he would ride the pine at UGA...and he rode the pine at UGA. It wasn’t ‘negative recruiting,’ it was honesty. I’m guessing here’s some of the ‘lies’ that were told:

  • That OC Chad Morris was looking around trying to get a head coaching gig
  • That Clemson would be breaking in a new QB since their old one will be moving on to the NFL
  • That EVEN WITH Tajh Boyd they couldn’t outscore South Carolina
I’m sure there were other lies that the Clemson staff were able to straiten out. These just seemed like the most obvious.

I've heard so much different stuff about Georgia and Clemson them sometimes being in it and not, just makes me feel more conifdent because Tennessee has always been for sure a finalist

I believe this "Butch lied" business about as much as I believe Obamacare was good for the country. Unlike our President, that's not Jones' style.

How can this crap possibly be true? First off how can Butch lie about how Clemson will use Malone? That is stupid. Second this poster must be nuts if he thinks Clemson HAD a chance. Totally B.S.

I don't mind that so much as the implication that outside influences will force him to a school he doesn't want to go to, i. e. his parents.

I have inside info:

My cousin's neighbor has a plumber that knows an HVAC guy that fixed the heat in Malone's house and he told the plumber who told my cousin's neighbor that Josh was wearing a VOLS hat. It was smokey gray though.
