This came from a Clemson site by one of their mods... A poster on VQ shared it...
"We got some additional information on Josh Malone we thought we would pass along.
Sources tell TCI that following the Clemson official visit that Tennessee got nervous, very nervous about their chances of landing the 5-star WR. That led to what we will be honest were some simple lies that were told to Josh about Clemson's offense and how he would be used at Clemson.
The good news is we can tell you that we understand he knows they were lies. Clemson's staff has of course been hard at work to set the facts straight.
We have also learned that if it was just Josh's decision that Clemson would be in very good shape. If he selects Tennessee when he announces Wednesday it will be due to outside influences from what we understand.
We will of course continue to monitor this one closely and let you know as we learn more.
His announcement as we have reported in set for Wednesday. If you saw our report earlier today you know Tennessee has gained some ground since the Clemson visit. We will have to see if the Tigers can make a late push. "
Sounds like sour grapes already. Boom!
i dont see how that is true.
Clemson got the last visit. Butch is at dinner. Wasnt he shutting it down after the Clemson visit? If so, how would we tell him these "lies"... and even if we did talk to him after the Clemson visit, did he instantly call Clemson like, "Hey, CBJ said yall are full of chit". I dont see how Clemson would know what was said to him after they left his home.
Considering commits have said countless times that Butch and Co. have never said something negative about another school, even when the recruit tried to fish it out of them. it was the reason we got one recruit over Vandy. (can't remember which one though) I find what the Clemson mods wrote hard to believe.
i thought he was shutting it down after the Clemson in home visit tonight, so he could make his decision
i mustve been mistaken
