Mikki Allen joined the Tennessee Fund in August 2009 and currently serves as Director of Leadership Support. In this role, he is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major gift prospects to support capital campaign projects and special annual fund initiatives.

Before returning to his alma mater, Allen served as a leading specialty representative for Pfizer, Inc. and Takeda North America. Prior to that, he was the CEO of 29*34 Vintage Sportswear, Inc., a licensed nostalgia jersey company that won the 2003 Collegiate Licensing Co. Licensee of the Year Award. Prior to successfully operating his own business, Allen played in the National Football League and NFL Europe from 1999-2001 with the San Francisco 49ers and Amsterdam Admirals.

During his playing days at Tennessee, Allen was a four-year varsity letterman for the Volunteers, twice named Academic All-SEC, and a member of the 1998 National Championship Team.

The native of Murfreesboro, TN graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2001 with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, and earned his Master’s in Sports Management & Administration from Tennessee State University in 2007.

Somewhat true. I am a rookie poster, only because I didn't know about this site. I have grown up in Neyland though, so I'm not giving up my fan card. I have only gotten so interested in the recruiting side recently though, because I didn't know there were so many of us that paid that close of attention.
