the feel from inside sources familiar with malone continue to give a slight edge to the volunteers given the push he’s getting from their instate commits and the recent move of ace recruiter tommy thigpen on his recruitment.

247sports crystal ball currently predicts malone to sign with the vols at 74 percent.

Unfortunately, I think that is DuckIt providing the knockout punch in the video, and the rest of VN in the red shorts.

@jcshurburtt: On Josh Malone- @RyanBartow has some scoop in today's #InsideWord that should make #Vols fans cheer up a bit after Saturday.

From the tweet thread

What about Dobbs. He seems like a real class act.

Well Dobbs, on the other hand, is obviously the more athletically gifted of all the quarterbacks. I see a lot of Vick/Newtown/RG III/Doug Williams/Warren Moon in his game. The obvious concern with any "mobile" quarterback is a question of whether or not he can grasp the playbook and really be a team leader.

* And before anyone loses their collective **** over this post, please refer back to original joke that the poster was quoting.

Dammit. Didn't see the disclaimer. I went off like an Ozzie Guillen.

I'll blame the lack of coffee.

You forgot Randall Cunningham, Donovan Mcnabb, and Steve Mcnair.

Malone has mentioned more than once that he is watching this season to see improvement in our offense and wins.

Who do we have to beat to open his eyes? Say what you will but we have a better shot at Fla than USC or UGA. Fla will be overconfident coming into this game. They watched the UO game and think we will be pushovers.
