This is where I thought we'd be only if Gruden had actually accepted the job. I figured Strong would be a....well...strong recruiter, but not quite like this. Gary Patterson was the coach I wanted us to hire (outside of Gruden) the past 3 times around. But even then, I never expected this level of recruiting momentum, unless we won our division or something.

Butch and staff have exceeded expectations thus far. Let's hope the entire team does the same during the season.

I don't think anyone can disagree with any of this. I don't think anyone had Butch at the top of their coach wish list but nobody could have done any better so far IMO.
