Oh ok I was confused because the poster asked about his build. He definitely shares the deep threat abilities that Golden Tate has though.

Sorry, I should have delineated the two. He definitely has better route running skills than CP, but just reminds me of Tate coming off his blocks.

Yeah, not feeling as confident here anymore.

He's a stud too, really hate missing out on a great instate talent. But if we can strengthen the lines on both sides of the ball, I'd rather have that and we'll be fine.

He definitely looks leaner than CP. He reminds me of that WR out of ND a couple years back Golden Tate.

Tate had awful route running coming out of high school. Kept him from playing much early, because all he could do was run fly routes.

Sometimes that's all u need to take some pressure off the middle.. And he was really good at that

Was it that bad? I never really saw much of Tate in high school since I just focus on college ball.

Yep, every week his freshman year notre dame coaches would talk about how he was the best athlete on the team and they wanted to get him out on the field more, but his struggles with route running made it difficult. He had one big game against Purdue that year where he literally just ran the same fly route every time

Tate ran out of the RB position more times than not at JP2. They worked him all over the field to get the match ups that they wanted.

Malone and Tate are not even remotely similar as to their physical assets. They only things that they have in common are that they play WR and are both fast.

I wonder if that is still the case with Golson out at ND.

Wondered the same thing. May not matter at all, but I think he might give some consideration to the fact that the QB that he would play with, the RS Freshman that just led ND to the NC title game, will no longer be there. Gotta believe other coaches will use that to negative recruit vs ND right now.

YOU WIN TUX, YOU WIN!!! I GIVE UP!!

Jesus guy, how much do you make at UT as the head coach?

What is your problem? I respond to some folks, in a intelligent fashion and you have a cow.

Someday I am going to come to this thread and actually find something posted about Malone.

The possibility of him going to Notre Dame doesn't count...the QB names confuse you?

We need to compete this year and a lot of good things, such as Malone, is going to come of it. I'm not saying we have to win 9 games and beat Bama, but just a showing of heart and determination will go so far for us in recruiting.

Well i only see 8 wins on the schedule and thats being generous probably a 6-6 or 7-5 season but i'd say as long as we keep it close in most games and make a bowl recruiting success will continue.
The one scenario that might hurt us big time would be another bowl-less season (or maybe a loss to kentucky wku ap)
