I will never understand why we have to discredit the abilities of an athlete because he chooses not to come to Tennessee. Malone is an outstanding WR with tons of potential. Id say there isn't a school in the country who would turn him down. Just because he doesn't come to Tn doesn't mean he isn't good, and it also doesn't mean our WRs aren't still great. It simply means the kid made the best decision for himself as he should.

The guys on 247 have clearly stated that they think we would take Malone and definitely want Malone. They just think that Malone likes what he sees at other schools right now. Why that automatically results in, "he's the next Marlon Brown," or, "we don't have room for him anymore," or, "he's not better than what we have," is beyond me.

Two things:
1) CJBlaze is probably 13. At least he's a budding Vols fan; enjoy puberty, young man, and keep bleedin' orange.

2) I see Malone in orange on NSD. I feel like there's going to be some additions, some jumpers, and some on the fence, but when the dust settles, Malone is on our side.

I also think we have a good shot at Adoree.

I think he's referring to the way you worded your post. It sounds like you're saying you'd trade Lauderdale and Jackson in exchange for Malone. We've got 2 of the best Juco WR's in the country, along with Creamer and Booth. Malone isn't really needed at this point.

This is the type of treatment that recruits used to give Tennessee last year and pretty much during the whole Dooley era. They would have Tennessee "kinda" on their list and they might come visit. Now recruits are fighting each other to come play on rocky top. In Butch we trust.

Oh, then that is my fault. I was saying I would happily trade/take the 2 Juco guys in place of Malone. I can see why it was confusing.

LV, You worded your post to make it sound like you would rather have Malone over the two JUCO WRs. Maybe I read it incorrectly. If so then sorry. I would rather have Lauderdale and Jackson together over Malone.

Nope,not 13, lol.Been a fan since 85.Made the mistake of getting on here after drinking too much.

I pay attention to recruiting on signing day. I admire all you recruiting gurus who religiously follow these kids and the process.

That being said, this kid's thread is always near the top. Why?
