Ever went to a barn dance and woke up the next morning in a cheap motel. Hazily remembering the looker you picked up the night before, you look over and see her false teeth on the nightstand by the bed. Oh yeah, me neither.

Malone rocks. Malone, Pearson, North. Awesome trio. Once this offense meshes will be very special.

The most important catch of Josh Malone’s career was not at Station Camp, where the 2013 Class AAA Mr. Football winner played his high school football.

It came as a member of the Scorpions — a Virginia-based AAU football team on which Malone played running back. Coach Archie Roberts decided to give the tall and wiry kid from Tennessee a look at a new position.

“I sent him out there at wide receiver and he made a one-handed catch,” Roberts said. “And he came down and broke his wrist in two places. But he held on to the ball.”
