My 2 cents:

I've seen 35 years of NFL receivers come and go. When Randy Moss was motivated and inspired to play at his highest level, there wasn't another receiver like him. He could run faster, jump higher, out muscle, and out maneuver every DB he faced. Don't believe me? Look at his stats for top his 5-6 years. Watch videos of him on YouTube. He was a freak in every sense of the word.

That being said, if I were building a team from scratch, I want Jerry Rice -- not Randy Moss. He showed up for work every day and worked his ass off. He was smart, fast (enough), and driven to be the greatest receiver ever. That's something Moss never had.

...and Moss was a cancer for every team he played with.

I thought things went okay in New England.

Rice's work ethic should never be used to discount his athleticism. He was the most physically-dominant receiver of the 80s and while Moss has him on speed and leaping, Rice excelled in all aspects of the passing game and was a solid blocker, neither of which Moss can claim.

I didn't discount Rice's athleticism. I never said he wasn't a great athlete. Rice did excel in all aspects of the game.

His work ethic and drive made him the greatest receiver in history.

Did Josh get caught up in the euphoria of the Clemson-UGA game?

That will be a tough experience to beat and erase from his mind.

People are gonna get pissed at me but oh well.

Josh Smith and Josh Malone went to the OM-VU game. Afterwards Smith said he thought Vandy and Georgia were Malone's top two. :yuck:

Malone spent the evening after the Clemson and Georgia game with the Georgia players. I think that speaks volumes about where Georgia stands.

I seriously doubt that is true. I don't even think they would have stayed in South Carolina, and if they did I doubt they would want to socialize with a recruit in any form.

I am fairly confident he did; however, I see where you are coming from.

I'm no insider of any sorts. I just realized a family member of mine is very close to him. It came from him that he was going to kick it with his Georgia friends.

I have friends who are GA fans. Sometimes we hang out too. Doesn't mean I like the Dawgs. Doesn't mean he is going to Georgia either.

He might but he has not made a decision yet.

I didn't say it meant he was going there. Just said it shows where they were in the picture IMO.

I just hope De'Andre Hopkins didn't get in his ear. Also Sammy Watkins lit it up that game I hope this didn't become a three team race.

After Vandy losing and only have a 60-65% crowd at home? Not to mention JF throwing players under the bus in the postgame?

Wow.

JF is sick of Vandy and its obvious.
Agreed. Taking the job and doing what he did there is impressive, but at Vandy he will never be a 10-12 win guy and will never land elite recruiting classes. He could continue there and always try to be a "spoiler" to us, UF, SCAR, UGA or he can go somewhere where he can have success at a higher level like USCw, Nebraska, Texas, Cal, etc

Vandy started opening its deep wallet for athletics not too long ago. Although I agree that it will never have the fan support of a state school, I think JF can sell its facilities and school's new devotion for athletics.

P.S.
I hate Vandy just like I hate all other SEC schools except Tennessee.

Do you really wanna compare the WRs Tennessee has put in the pros compared to UGA? If you do I'm armed and ready....you let me know when you wanna do this.

not sure what you are getting all worked up about. someone said uga doesn't put WR in the NFL and that was my guess as to why a 17 year old kid would think that.
