Rivals is so far behind these days.

Devin Perry

This kid has been on the recruiting scene for a little while now. He has offers from MSU, Ole Miss, and UNC. MSU has been on him, and he's going to be attending some JR days this month.

Talked to Devin Perry today, wide receiver out of Memphis who already has offers from UNC, Miss State and Ole Miss. He hopes to see Tennessee some time this spring and is interested in the Vols. Vandy will probably offer soon, he was there over the weekend.

We have to recruit all of these type guys, but the issue with 2014 is we will have a lot of young WR's back. I think it is the one position that we can be selective and probably not try to take as many as this year. Creamer, Malone, and Booth are all realistic, and I am sure we will make a run at Kitt. If they are all equal, then you take whoever jumps first. But I am sure we have some higher than others.

What's going on with this kids recruitment? I see rivals bumped him to #10 in the state of TN just above Mosley.

Obviously our staff isn't too interested. Just curious.

And, according to Woody, Perry was getting the best of Rico McGraw in the state championship game. Looks like someone will get a good one.
