If you don't want to believe he's a Florida fan then that's up to you. I read his posts and he clearly has more good things to say about Florida than he does Tennessee. He goes out of his way to condemn Tennessee and our players. That's what I see and believe. As far as you finding my username "pathetic" I didn't come up with it to please you. I'm in my mid 60's and I've been attending Tennessee football games since 1964 so I am an "Old Vol". I'm probably old enough to be your grandfather so I don't need a kid like you telling me what to do. In case you've never noticed the term "gator" is commonly used on this site as a crude reference to Florida gators. Sorry if it offended you.

I don't understand how anyone can say someone's username is pathetic when most of the time the names are often something personal. Mine is due to me being a car guy and I actually have an sunset orange WS6 Trans Am. I know it's pathetic right.

After hearing an account of reviewing this thread from the very beginning, I took the time traveling plunge...interesting how posters like tux have metamorphosized in two years time...stopped after the three pages of boomage...a must perusal for any poster who wonders why this place gets up in arms over any perceived slight...there is an epic amount of emotional investment in this young man's recruitment and his commitment TWAS AN EVENT :fireworks:

Ok, somebody get USC on our schedule in the next 4 years and Tee the USC defense can see how soft Jalen Hurd is on his way to the endzone!

After breakin my collarbone 3 times and dislocating it by my freshman year, I had a similar stabilizing surgery and then was able to play 3 more years of high school soccer, basketball, and football and then college soccer. With the weight training he's gettin at UT, I'm not worried bout that shoulder at all.

He played the entire game after he tore his labrum. He didn't have to have surgery but he did just to get it fixed for college. I'm not worried in the least.

The worry is not that he had the surgery, it's that it's the 2nd surgery he has had on the same shoulder before even getting to college. They had to go in and reinforce the shoulder because it was so weak. He may never have another issue, but he also could.

Yes he played after he was injured, but the fact is that he injured his shoulder and had surgery in December 2012, and then injured it again and needed surgery in Sept 2013, it's scary to think it could happen again.

How does it affect you in your super hero work?

One important point that his mother communicated was that although it was the same shoulder, it wasn't the same area of the shoulder and was a fairly routine procedure to fix the latest injury. Obviously, we won't know until he gets on the field, but I'm not gonna worry until we have a reason to.

Don't waste your time, he's just trolling. It was also reported that (besides it being a different part of the shoulder) they chose to do the reenforcing part just to make sure it's good to go as early as possible and as strong as possible. It was a positive thing but he is gonna try to spin it as a bad thing.
That's why they shut it down and he skipped his senior season.

Still can't believe Tee called this kid soft. In that Station Camp game, he injured his shoulder very early in the game and continued to play both ways and blow up Station Camp's RB from his safety spot. It just makes Tee sound bitter.

Two completely different surgeries. 1st was a repair of a torn labrum. 2nd was shoulder stabilization because Hurd had a loose shoulder joint which made it easy to tear the labrum again. IIRC Hurd and his family had the lesser surgery first so his rehab wouldn't interfere with his next HS season. Turned out to be the wrong call, but you never know with these things. If he had had the stabilization first, the 2nd injury probably wouldn't have happened. No worries, the shoulder will now be better than it probably has been in years.
