Jalen really is quite awesome. He plays with passion, smart, instinctive. And he's a no bull**** runner. He decides real quickly what he needs to do when the ball is in his hands, and takes very little time to reach his high gear... which is faster than anyone he's ever played.

Can't wait Bart Scott style.

On a side note, he said practice is going well. Marlin has taken him under his wing, and I know Jalen has a lot of respect for him. He said that he thought Marlin was a "really good" back. Of course, they're only doing drills right now - which is not football - but the senior is impressing the freshman (which he should be).

Neat to hear. I think Marlin is a really good back. Be excited to see how Marlin, Jalen and (hopefully) Scott are used next fall. I'm sure there will be plenty of carries to go around.
