Not necessarily, shoulder injuries recur at a rate of 72% in people under the age of 24 per article published in the New England Journal of Medicine while ACL tears have a much lower rate of recurrence. The surgery will help to lower those percentages but it is still a concern.

I wouldn't mind seeing that article. I could be wrong but 72% recurring labral or rcr tear doesn't sound remotely accurate

that kid is a beast to be out there laying the wood on Offense and Defense
after tearing up his shoulder on the 4th play... here's to a full recovery and
to getting back on the field in the summer and fall at UTK... and dominating...

I hope he makes a recovery, and has the career he deserves at UT, a great one. I wouldn't wish anything else for a player, rival school or not.

Classy comment! :hi:
Just like all of us are pulling for Lattimore to have a monsterous NFL career when he gets healthy.

I thought I was the only softy on here What a great kid.Nice too know most vol fans are classy folks.I just heard an Alabubba fan on a talk radio show say how classey the POS was for playing every schools almamata before every home game.

Great player and kid. Vol74, please pass along our support from the Vol family. He will be back and better than ever in no time.

I'm a massive VOL fan but I can tell you first hand vandy has a great medical center/hospital. My little brother at the age of 11 had a brain tumor and vandy's doctors are at the top if not the best in the country. They went beyond to take of him and our family. Do your research before blurting out of your ass.

It was a joke. Maybe you should have read the whole exchange before you blurt things out of your ass!

Ha. Why not???? :)

I can say it. TOA is where it's at in Orthopedics in Nashville/Murfreesboro.

Better wear the bullet proof. Not allowed to say one medical facility is better than the other on here. And don't dare question the administration of one even if you have stone cold proof. Bunch of butthurt if you do. Just warning you bro... Good day sir

There are only 3 days till football, we are all butthurt over everything.

The week leading up to football season is the closest a man gets to having a period

I work in medical field. I'm not associated with either company. Our Docs in the ER where I work choose TOA almost 100% of the time.

Some nimrod on sports talk with John and Jimmy was implying that if he quit on his high school he might be prone to quit on UT. Compared the torn labrum to a hang nail.

Speaking as someone who has torn there labrum before, it's not painful per say but you lose all stability of the joint and a lot of power.

The caller is an idiot.
