FIRST off I think that Hurd is going to be a monster here, I just hope he doesn't end up like some other highly rated talent that this state has produced that basically washed away in college. Again, I don't think it's going to happen, period, but hopefully he doesn't end up like Rod Wilks (spare me the jokes), or Chris Donald. I had high hopes for those two as well.

That being said, Hurd is a monster on the field and in person. I think he would show out no matter the region or division he would play in.

Reported.

I know it seems like blasphemy to even speak of such a thing, but to not consider it is silly too. Again, I think he will show out here, but I thought the other two I mentioned would too.

THAT being said, I'm looking forward to seeing this kid rush for 4,000+ this year and hopefully taking the #1 overall spot at RB.

Or he could end up like Al Wilson, John Henderson, Justin Harrell, Tiny Richardson, Travis Stephens, etc.

There's no chance he rushes for 4,000 this year.. You should expect him to take less carries than he did last year..

Paulk I agree on, he jus needs to have a good season as a feature back. Shouldn't be a problem. Neiko I don't think has really showed out yet, it will depend on his senior season. He certainly looks the part

I forgot about Henderson in my earlier post. Top Dline list at The Opening and MVP at the Columbus camp, no way he's only a three star after that IMO

Henderson definitely should atleast be a 4* and seems like he may be on one of the services but I could be wrong. I agree with Paulk too, with him being the feature back this year he should really show out and move up the rankings. We have 2 very good RB committs.

Understandable, but didn't he rush for over 3k and missed quite a few games because of injury?

edit *last year*

Yes, missed a couple due to injury and sat out the second half in a lot due to blowing people out.

Beech lost 16 starters from last year including their line (which is not good for any RB), so it will not be a cakewalk for Beech this year. They have a ridiculous schedule and face some of the top 6A teams across the state (they're 5A).

Depending on how he is used will really determine whether he will amass that type of yardage again. I suspect he'll play more FS than RB though. That is, if they don't have to use him (as they 2 other good backs). Unfortunately, they'll probably need him quite a bit.

:td:Jalen is the real deal, will be the next great RB at Tennessee, look at him run and Eric Dickerson comes to mind, remember how he ran straight up, he never look like he was going fast, but he left everybody in the dust.

FIRST off I think that I'll be a solid poster on Volnation here, I just hope I don't get hit by a garbage truck and die like Rcvol. Again, I don't think it's going to happen, period, I'm agile for my age and Rcvol got increasingly cocky on collection day (spare me the jokes) I had high hopes he would perish in a funnier fashion.

That being said Hurd is going to redefine the running back position and we need to refer back to these posts for future enjoyment.

I didn't even realize this was a pedigo original until it was quoted later on. Ole TP seems to be losing his trademark illiteracy. Too bad. The great ones do always fall....
