Seriously though, you really want to compare highlights tapes. Are you not aware that Hurd played over half of the season with a torn shoulder (labrum) that he had surgery on after the state championship. So, not only did he destroy every junior RB's stats in the nation, win Mr. Football, win a state champion and break 13 records (including state and bowl records), he did it in a lot of pain. So, who the h3ll is the better back?

Once again, be glad that we have Mr. Hurd. He loves his state and wants to represent the team that we all love. You trying to berate is absolutely pointless on here.

And i told you why i think LF is better.

If you mean I was throwing shots at you, yeah i was. You're talking about how you TKO'd me on the internet so i'm gonna retaliate. I haven't attacked JH in this thread at all nor have I said i wish we had one over the other. I'd rather have JH because i don't think that LF would be repping the power T or helping recruit like JH is. The nucleus of this class (Hurd, Wharton, and Kelly) is the most committed group to their future university in the nation. What I have done in this thread, is state why I think LF is #1 in the nation for a reason. In the long run, Hurd is going to be a better commitment due to how he "puts on" for Tennessee, but if we're comparing straight talent, LF > everyone else, in my opinion of course. Sorry if that offends you but i'm gonna own it.

Fournette's high school football program (St. Augustine) is ranked 481 in the nation.

St. Augustine High School (New Orleans, LA) 2012 Football Schedule

Hurd's high school football program (Beech) is ranked 130 in the nation.

Beech High School (Hendersonville, TN) 2012 Football Schedule

They both play strong teams and they both play weak teams, but to assume that Fournette plays on a better football team because he's located in the "hood", give me a effin break! Beech played several teams that were almost completely composed of minorities (if that's the point that you're trying to make), and guess what - they whooped the sh!t out of them (just ask Jackson Northside).
They're team when 9-4, Beech went 15-0. Also, Hurd rushed for about 1000 more yards.

To be honest the fact that he loves Tennessee is all that should matter. I guess that is not enough for some of our fans. They butch when we dont get a good running back then they butch about who is better than OUR running back when we get a potentially great one. Damn are you guys serious!!! Get over yourselves and get on board!

Dear God this arguement is still happening? We aren't getting LF or RT. However we do have JH. Those certain people trying to prove your point won't be able to- because it is all opinionated statements. Honestly, who cares? Let's just rejoice that we got a kid who is NASTY running the ball and going to see the checkerboards a lot. Geez lol

I don't understand why people can't discuss players and it not result in mud slinging all day. Just because a kid is going to UT doesn't mean he's a better player. JMO

What happens if I say Paulk is the best back we've got committed? I guess people will say I hate the state of Tennessee prospects then. But when I say I like TKjr and Gaulden as much or more than any other DBs in this class the board will eat it up. Hilarious.......smh
