Not a parent, but extremely close to the parents. And I have no time or interest on posting anything on this board that is a mere assumption. Will this child change his mind? Perhaps. Yet, guaranteed at this moment, he is a Vol lean. Take it any way you want.

I can understand your apprehension, but you're not quite aware of what has happened with this kid in the past month or the magic that CBJ has worked on him. Trust me, if he sways back toward another program, I will let that be known too.

Just be happy with his current position and continue to support the Vols.

I can appreciate this.

Gotcha, but mzterry and a few others came out and said who they were. They didn't seem to hide it. Anyways I hope Vol74 is right, but I don't think I'm in the minority here when I say I don't think he's a Vol lean. Yet.

She didnt say who she was til J announced.. Don't blame her either, she was trying to get a feel on how some of the fans felt about her son without any kind of bias.

Unless he gets injured, Mister Hurd is going to be pursued by every top-5 team in the country. And sadly, the current state of the Vols program is not worthy of a talent like that. Exact same story as Vonn Bell. Same as Jalen Ramsey. To a lesser extent, same as Corn Elder. Over the last 6-7 years, the Vols have really lost their appeal in Chattanooga, Nashville areas & rural middle Tennessee. That fence we built is located at Crossville

I hope like heck that I am wrong. He is one heck of a talent! And plays a position of dire need for us.

Not worthy? I like to think that we're always "worthy" of elite talent...smh.

What had Ole Miss done last season to be "worthy" of their recruiting haul?...I know money is being implied but why was theirs greener than Florida's or Georgia's in head to head recruit wins?...We put a viable product on the field...we'll be "worthy"...pshhh

IMO Ole Miss needs to be investigated. Not only did they land the #1 overall player but: the #1 overall WR, the #1 overall OT, #2 overall S and one of the top 5 DT. These are all 5* stud players and ALL sign with Ole MIss??? Give me a break.

I wouldn't blink an eye if Bama, Oregon or LSU got a haul like that but OLE MISS???? Something is fishy.

Other than Tunsil none of them were really that shocking. Antonio Connor went to an ole miss pipeline in South Panola High School, Nkemdiche's brother plays for Ole Miss and his mom wanted them together, they signed Treadwell's best friend the year before and Freeze's offense is a very attractive one for backs and wrs, and Lavon Hooks was from a Mississippi juco which is always a tough pull for anyone outside of Mississippi.

Imho, there had to be some serious money behind all that at Ole Miss. No other explanation. I will predict probation for them within the next 2-3 years.
