I can only hope so! I honestly don't know what the kid will decide (no one does)! I do know he is going to take his time, enjoy the recruiting process, and pick the best fit for him! He wants to be a RB. If he grows any more that may be a problem though!

Absolutely must get this kid! Would be a huge miss if we can't land him. My son's team played Beech last week and he said that one of his teammates told him that he hit Jalen as hard as he could and he just brushed him off like a fly. He said that had never happened to him before.

So a good year on the field and a little more love from the UT staff and he'll be a Vol?

Jalen is nowhere near to knowing where he wants to go to school. He was already getting attention from UT, OSU, UF, and Candy among others before his junior season started. If he keeps his level of play up to what it is right now there is no doubt he will be getting a large amount of national attention and his decision will not be an easy one.

The Tennessean reports that Hurd finished with 451 yards on 37 carries last night.

On his 9 TD runs in Beech's first 2 games, Hurd averaged over 46 yards per carry with 3 of those scoring runs going for 80+ yards.

According to a poster on 247 who seems really close to JRM, he was told by JRM that he is recruiting Jalen Hurd to Tennessee.

TIFWIW.

Its nice to say you want to play for the NCAA champs. Things change though and Im hoping Michigan kicks things off by putting a beat down on the elephants. Just to be clear Im not predicting a beat down Im hoping for one.

Officially been invited to be in the 2014 US Army All American Bowl. #football #hardworkpaysoff #allglorytoGod

I watched this kid shred my alma mater's defense last Friday. That is easily the best RB I've ever seen us go up against. A distant second would be the one and only Travis Stephens back in '94.

Reel...Him...In. He will be special. 6'3" and around 210 right now as a high school Junior. With his frame, think of how stout this dude will be after a year or two in a college S&C program. His combo of size and speed is extremely rare. And for those of you in the Nashville area, get out and go see this kid play if you have the chance. That type of talent doesn't come around often, and you will not regret it..he is that good.

We (Beech) play Station Camp at home this Friday and hopefully he can go ahead and cross the 1000 yard mark this week(which is pretty ridiculous).

Sadly I have to record the UT game and avoid all contact with score watchers in order to see Jalen tear it up.

The announcer will probably release scores at halftime over the p a system. fyi
