“The same day that I come home from this, the next day I’m going straight to Knoxville,” said Hurd, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 33 overall prospect in the 2014 class by 247Sports. “I am (already packed). The day after that, that’s when I start my classes and start workouts and everything like that.”

“The group definitely knows that we have a responsibility to play,” said Hurd, who expects to play running back for the Vols. “Anybody that commits has to know that responsibility. All the commits already inform all the recruits and stuff like that trying to come in and be a commit that we do have a responsibility. “We have pressure on us right now, but that’s the reason why we committed. We want that pressure. We want to be able to know that we brought a program back.”

“I’m 100 percent right now,” he said. “In about two weeks, I’ll get back in the weight room and have no restraints at all, so I will definitely be playing in the spring. “I went to rehab nonstop, and I’ve been working my butt off, and hopefully I think I’ve gotten a lot better over this offseason with just (my) core and balance and things like that — little parts of my game that I haven’t worked on that much. I think it’ll all come out straight.”

On landing Adoree:

“I think we definitely have a chance,” Hurd said. “Coach Jones, he has a really close relationship with Adoree’ and vice versa. And just our entire recruiting class as a whole, we’re trying to get him and just trying to get players here and just put a little word in, if that helps at all, so I definitely think we have a chance.”

And for all the "He's to talk to play RB crowd" I hope you guys saw Derrick Henry for Bama last night he was amazing he is a true frosh and is already at the top of Bama's depth chart. I believe he's 6'3 same as hurd. Height doesn't matter if you can run low and balanced.
O
Wouldn't say he is top of the depth chart. It's Yeldon's team but get what you're saying. And Yeldon is 6'2. The ones talking about height really dont have a clue if they think tall RB's cant succeed.

Is Jaylon to fast and strong for the SEC? They say. Doesnt matter.

He can run, he can pass, he can shoot, and he can get vols balls for the touchdowns any way in his own orange.

Time will tell. Debate

He can do everything except pass, he said on his radio interview a week ago that he sucks at passing

Seems like it works for auburn. Put a guy back there that can run he doesn't ever really have to pass see Nick Marshall. He doesn't throw like but 5 times a game yet 12-1 right now haha

Betcha Marshall can't play TE or DE :)

I actually liked what he did this season but he hasn't always played at that speed.

Neal had a really nice season. Wasn't elite, but he made some great plays for us. He was definitely one of the bright spots. I thought Gillespie really helped him.
