If this was Butch Jones' third year instead if his 1st he may have made more if a push for guys like Rollins, Hawkins and Smith

Committed to UTC. Rollins and Hawkins are campus. UTC is on one of the great recruiting binges in FCS history with commitments from 4 composite 3 stars in 5 days. The name to look out for on that staff is WR coach Will Healy. He is proving to be some kind of recruiter still in his mid 20s.

Blackburn is probably pretty good but all these athletic department changing hires were made before he got here.

Edit: blackburn did hire both basketball coaches, my bad

Guess who it was? Rick hart, Dave's son. He left for the SMU job. Although the men's and women's basketball hires were made during the interim AD's tenure.

Edit: blackburn did hire both basketball coaches, my bad

It's all good. I hope we see Dave go for a basketball coach. He didn't do bad at all with Butch.

They also begin their games in Science Hill's stadium, haha. Which is honestly probably nicer than some FCS stadiums out there.
