"I just remember it was an awesome game, really exciting. Like 103,000 fans going nuts and just a great game to see what Tennessee's all about," Bars said.
"I talked to coach Pittman, the o-line coach, and coach Chaney," Bars said. "They said that I'm doing well and they've seen my film and they really like what they saw and they were telling me to keep doing well."
"I play both. I play offensive tackle and nose guard and defensive end," Bars said. "But, I did camp this summer and they saw me as a defense end and they like me there but they like me more at offensive tackle so that's where they offered me, actually. They like my athleticism and they like my defensive edge on the offensive side of the ball."
"A few years ago when my brothers were being recruited I went to a Tennessee-Georgia game. But, I went to their spring practices so I have a good feel for their team and the games," Bars said.
"I know it's a great up and coming program and great tradition there and everything," Bars said.
"Probably what the coaches are like, what the program is like and how they play and how the coaches respond and how the players respond to different situations in the game and watching them warm up is pretty awesome," Bars said.
